Drawing and essay competitions were arranged for the students of all batches as part of the ongoing decennial celebration of Sri Sarada Math-Rasik Bhita.

Students could draw any incident from the life of Swami Vivekananda or a portrait of Swamiji in the drawing competition. Enthusiastic students used their brushes to give colour and form to many incidents from the life of Swamiji. The prize winning drawings were displayed in the exhibition ‘WORLD IN 2050’.

‘Festivals of India’ – the topic for the digital drawing competition let the students use their computer tools to colour their imagination. The Essay competition included topics from Swamiji’s speeches and students could write both in English and Bengali. The winning essays and the best drawings have been published in Rasik Bhita Barta 2012 to be released on 15th August and the winners of all the competitions will be awarded on the same day in the annual prize distribution ceremony.
