Training of BPL Candidates under SUDA:

This training, intending to financially uplift and help the BPL (below poverty level) candidates falls under the scheme ‘Swarna Jayanti Sahari Rojgar Yojana’ (Golden Jubilee Urban Employment Programme), approved by SUDA (State Urban Development Agency). Besides the training, Rasik Bhita had arranged for the travelling expenses and tiffin of the candidates. Two batches of 27 and 25 candidates respectively from Bally Municipality received training in Microsoft Office and Internet under this scheme.

Training of candidates under KUSP:

Rasik Bhita participated in the training under the KUSP (Kolkata Urban Society for Poor) in which 30 students from Bally Municipality received training in Financial Accounting and
Microsoft Office.

Training of Group-D employees of IIT, Kharagpur:

In order to enhance the competency and expertise of the Group-D women staff working in IIT, Kharagpur, a special training in Computer and Spoken English was imparted to 25 of them. 12 others were trained in Lamination, Book-Binding, Envelope-Making, Photo-Copying and Silk Screen Printing.

Social Safety Net Programme (SSNP)

Rasik Bhita participated in the SSNP sponsored by the Government of West Bengal and supported by the Department for International Development, Government of UK. This special programme which helped 50 trainees, aimed at self-employing the employees of sick industries or their dependents by giving them technical training in various Computer courses.

Sarva Shiksha Abhijan & Railway Staff Training Programme:

81 school teachers and 30 Eastern Railway women employees received IT training from Rasik Bhita under these two schemes.
