The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita was held at the Rasik Bhita 24/1 R.N Tagore Road premises this year on 11th September 2022. The programme began with Vedic Chanting of Shanti Mantras by the students of Rasik Bhita followed by the song ‘Jedin vishwa manava sabhaay’ commemorating the 129th year of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address at the World Parliament of Religions on 11th September 1893. Welcome address was given by Pravrajika Nityamuktaprana, Rasik Bhita Centre-In-Charge, followed by the felicitation of the chief guest Most Revered Pravrajika Jnanadaprana Mataji, Assistant General Secretary of Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. Revered Mataji then released the new issue of the annual magazine of the institute ‘Rasik Bhita Barta- Swadhinatar Homanale’, themed around the nationwide celebrations of the 75th year of India’s Independence. After the address by the Chief Guest, prizes were distributed to 83 students for their excellent performance in computer and spoken English. The first session was followed by the cultural programme, beginning with a Hindusthani classical khayal by Smt. Gargi Samadar, an accomplished classical singer and a teacher of Communicative English at Rasik Bhita. The programme ended with a play – ‘Aahuti’ brilliantly enacted by the teachers of Rasik Bhita on the patriotism of the famous Indian freedom fighter Masterda Surya Sen.
