A skit competition was organized by Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita on 10th February 2023 at 24/1, R.N Tagore Road premises. The students of the Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced English batches of Rasik Bhita and Vivek Library (Dumdum Park) took part in the competition. Dr. Sumita Roy (former HOD, Department of English, Osmania University) and Smt. Ratna Halder (retired faculty, Don Bosco School) were invited to be the honorable judges of the event.
Five skits were presented by English Advanced, Pre- Int 5, Pre-Int 6 and Pre-Int 7 groups of Rasik Bhita and English Pre-Int group of Vivek Library. All the groups performed commendably well and the first prize was awarded to English Pre-Intermediate 7 group of Rasik Bhita for their outstanding and well-coordinated enactment of Oscar Wilde’s ‘Happy Prince’. The second and third prizes were awarded to Pre-Intermediate group of Vivek Library and Pre-Intermediate batch 5 of Rasik Bhita respectively. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sumita Roy and prize distribution among the participants.
