Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita is an approved non-funding partner of National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC). Courses are accredited under NSDC, and affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development.

Computer Courses

Integrated computer courses that train students in basic computer software like MS Office, as well as specialized programs for graphic design, website design, animation, financial accounting and software programming.

An integrated course which aims to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students receive training in both grammar and communication. Along with regular classes, students enthusiastically attend video conference lectures with guest faculty from Iceland and the USA.

Education Through Video Conferencing


Sri Sarada Math-Rasik Bhita, educational and cultural wing of Sri Sarada Math, Dakshineswar has undertaken “Education through video conferencing” under the “Vivek Jagriti” Project. This project was inaugurated on 17th December, 2012, to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Through this project Communicative English is being taught to girl students mainly at remote villages completely free of any tuition fees. Regular classes were started from January, 2013. Currently, weekly Communicative English classes via video conferencing are conduted at the following centres within West Bengal:

  • Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Balurghat, West Dinajpur District
  • Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Kantanagar, Murshidabad District
  • Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Baladbandh, Hooghly District
  • Sri Sarada Math, Shihore, Bankura District
  • Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Shillya, Ramgopalpur, Burdwan District

Vivek Jagriti Project extends to Maharashtra

In February, 2015, Rasik Bhita started teaching Communicative English in the High School run by Ramakrishna Sarada Mission at Kamptee, Nagpur, Maharashtra through the Vivek-Jagriti Project. With this new addition, this project crossed the boundary of West Bengal.

Seminars & Workshops

Seminars and workshops on presentation and interpersonal skills along with everyday science and ethics are a regular feature at the institute. The workshops are conducted by eminent personalities from various academic and professional spheres, including Dr.Sumita Roy, former Head of the Department of English, Osmania University, Dr.Chandrima Sen, English and Foreign Language University, Dr. Jayanta Sarkar, IIT Kharagpur alumnus and former Dean, Research and Planning, Harvard University, and Sonali Bhattacharya, English Language Communication and Soft Skills Trainer, Oxford University Press.

Spoken English At RKSM Sister Nivedita Girls’ School

Communicative English classes are conducted for students of class I to X at Nivedita Girls’ School, Baghbazar, with a host of highly qualified and professionally acclaimed teachers. The program has been immensely successful with students who enjoy the classes thoroughly, even as they develop the confidence to communicate, easily and fluently, in English.

Computer and Spoken English for Students of Hiralal Majumdar Memorial College for Women

From September 3, 2018, Computer and English courses were initiated for first year students at Hiralal Mazumdar Memorial college for Women. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Most Revered Pravrajika Anandaprana Mataji, Vice-President, Sri Sarada Math & ramakrishna Sarada Mission, and Pravrajika Atandraprana Mataji, Assistant Secretary, Sri Sarada Math & Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. The classes are held at Sri Sarada Math rasik Bhita’s newly purchased premises at 7A, Jadunath Sarbobhouma Lane. A permanent outlet of Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita Chhatrimangal, a student’s co-operative, has also been set up at this venue.
