‘Vidyarthini Homa‘ was performed by 38 young learners of the two 1 year courses viz. Certificate in Multimedia and Certificate in Computer Programming in which they took vows amidst sanctified atmosphere on 24th November 2015. These vows, approved by Swami Brahmananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna are administered to fresh entrants in many schools run by the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission & Ramakrishna Mission, the purpose being to enumerate and restate the aim of education (acquisition of knowledge, skill and character) and how to achieve it. Most Revered Pravrajika Amalaprana Mataji, General Secretary, Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission was the acharya of this homa.
