The Decennial Celebrations of Sri Sarada Math-Rasik Bhita were flagged off with a special ‘Vidyarthini Homa ‘performed by young learners of our two one year courses last year. Keeping with this tradition this year too on 25th November 2012, ‘Vidyarthini Homa‘ was performed by 37 young learners of the two 1 year courses viz. Certificate in Multimedia and Certificate in Computer Programming in which they took vows amidst sanctified atmosphere. These vows, approved by Swami Brahmananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna are administered to fresh entrants in many schools run by the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission & Ramakrishna Mission, the purpose being to enumerate and restate the aim of education (acquisition of knowledge, skill and character) and how to achieve it. Most Revered Pravrajika Amalaprana Mataji, General Secretary, Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission was the acharya of this homa.
