This year the Annual Prize Distribution function of Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita took place at Girish Mancha, Baghbazar on Monday, September 16^th, 2024. Revered Pravrajika Jnanadaprana Mataji along with other sannyasinis from Sri Sarada Math graced the occasion by their august presence. Dr. Kunal Sarkar, eminent heart surgeon and speaker from Kolkata was invited to be the Guest of Honour. Around 600 people including students, faculty, parents and guests attended the function.

The event had an auspicious start, reverberating with chants from the ‘Narayana Upanishad’ performed by the students of Rasik Bhita followed by the welcome address given by the Center-in Charge of Rasik Bhita, Pravrajika Nityamuktaprana. This was followed by an engaging audio-visual presentation of the Annual Report and release of the annual magazine – ‘Rasik Bhita Barta’ by Revered Pravrajika Jnanadaprana Mataji, the theme of this year being ‘Kritajnata’ (or Gratitude). After this, the Guest of Honour, Dr. Kunal Sarkar gave an insightful talk followed by the presidential address by Revered Jnanadaprana Mataji. Prizes were then handed over to the deserving students. The event then took a melodious turn with a rapturing vocal recital on ghazals and bhajans by Gargi Samadar, Communicative English faculty of Rasik Bhita. Finally, the event concluded with a mesmerizing drama titled – ‘Atha Mahabharat Katha’ based on the less-heard inspiring tales from the great Indian epic, performed by the students of Rasik Bhita. The programme ended at 8 PM with distribution of food packets to all the attendees of the event.
