National Youth Day was celebrated joyously on 12th January 2025. Like every year, students from local schools and devotees joined the rally which started at 8:00 A.M from Sri Sarada Math Dakshineswar, walked upto the Dakshineswar Kali temple and then returned to Sri Sarada Math. Around 250 students and faculty from Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita joined the rally waving colourful flags and posters of Swamiji’s photographs and messages and singing songs in praise of Swami Vivekananda. The procession was followed later by cultural program performed by the students of the participant schools. Students of Rasik Bhita enacted Swami Vivekananda’s story of the ‘Three Boons’. Prize tokens were handed over to the participants and cooked Prasad was distributed among all.
A two day awareness workshop was organized by Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita at Calcutta blind School in collaboration wih Enable India on 11th and 12th December 2024. The workshops were held on two topics - "Reading without Seeing" and "Orientation to Careers". Visually impaired students of Vivek Drishti project of Rasik Bhita also attended the workshop along with the students of Calcutta Blind School.
Sri Sarada Math Raik Bhta in collaboration with Nivedita Institute of Human Research and Advancement (NIHAR) organized a seminar on "Contemporary Issues in Popular Science" at the Rasik Bhita premises in Daskhineswar on 11th December 2024 from 3PM to 5PM. Prof. Deepak Ghosh, Emeritus Professor, Jadavpur University, Prof. Ashoknath Bose, Former Vice Chancellor, Jadavpur University and Prof. Siddhartha Sen, Emeritus Professor, Trinity College of Dublin were the distinguished speakers of the session. The trio shed light on the marvels of scientific discoveries made so far and emphasized the need to make these facts more accessible and understandable to the common people at large. The Seminar was attended by around 130 students of Rasik Bhita and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Sister Nivedita Girls' School.
