In todays' world of competitive professionalism, being adept in soft skills is a must for any job seeker. To improve the overall soft skill of all students, all courses of Rasik Bhita incudes lessons in soft skills which is mandatory for all.

Seminars and workshops on technical, presentation and interpersonal skills along with everyday science and ethics are a regular feature at the institute. The workshops are conducted by eminent personalities from various academic and professional spheres, including Mr.Shubhendu Sarkar, Artist and Faculty of Rabindra Bharati University, Dr.Sumita Roy, former Head of the Department of English, Osmania University, Dr.Chandrima Sen, English and Foreign Language University, Dr. Jayanta Sarkar, IIT Kharagpur alumnus and former Dean, Research and Planning, Harvard University, and Sonali Bhattacharya, English Language Communication and Soft Skills Trainer, Oxford University Press.

Cultural heritage classes are conducted for the students on the first Sunday of every month.

Monastic members as well as HR personalities take classes on a regular basis on the lives and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita. The rich culture and heritage of India and various other topics, like ‘Science of Human Excellence’ are also discussed to bring about a holistic development of the students. These classes are made more interesting by the help of audio-visual aids. The students are also encouraged to practice meditation so that they can concentrate more and are able to lead a stress-free life.

Examination :
Every student has to appear for the Cultural Heritage Examination (Full Marks – 50) along with the examination of Computer and Communicative English.

As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita this year, a new project ‘Vivek Drishti’ has been launched to extend the service of providing vocational training to visually impaired girls alongside the students with normal vision. The knowledge partner of this project is EnAble India, a Bengaluru based NGO working for people with disabilities and CSR support is being provided by mjunction services Ltd.

The goal is to empower the visually impaired girls to earn and financially support their families, and thus become valuable assets in the mainstream society.

 In this venture, the visually impaired girls will be trained free of charge using modern assistive devices and technology instead of braille to increase their scope of employment and would be the first of its kind in Kolkata.

The pilot project has started with 9 visually impaired girls as of now. Plans of scale up are being run in full motion for which we appeal for generous contributions and support.

Includes basic and advanced levels of computer fundamentals and MS Office, as well as specialized programs for graphic design, website design, animation, financial accounting and software programming.

Includes training to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills along with grammar, vocabulary and communication skills.
