A workshop entitled “Tomorrow Is Now” was organised on 13 May 2026 at Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita to help students understand the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The session was conducted by Mr. Himansu Samal, an AI educator, technology practitioner, and founder of Hands On-Tech.
A total of 176 students from both the Dakshineswar and Dumdum Park premises of Rasik Bhita attended the session, during which the speaker highlighted the rising demand for AI-ready professionals and the skills needed to succeed in the field. He emphasized that fluency in English is crucial for effectively understanding and working with AI tools.
Mr. Samal further explained the importance of abstraction, critical thinking, and domain knowledge as essential skills for building a career in AI. He encouraged students from non-technical backgrounds to explore opportunities in AI by developing these competencies.
The session also included career guidance based on different educational streams, helping students align their academic backgrounds with emerging AI career paths. The workshop proved to be both insightful and motivating, inspiring students to focus on skill development for future opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
