Very close to the main premises of Rasik Bhita stands Sarada Bhita — a place that holds a different, yet equally sacred, memory.
It was here that Sri Shambhu Mallick, a devoted lay disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, built a humble mud house for Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. She lived here for nearly a year, and Sri Ramakrishna himself spent a night here on one occasion.
On 16 July, following the inauguration of a new temple at Dakshineswar, Most Revered President Maharaj of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission stopped at Sarada Bhita on his way back to Belur Math and offered floral tribute to the Holy Mother.
A few days later, on 22 July, Most Revered President Mataji of Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission also visited Sarada Bhita. She offered Arghya and performed Karpur Arati at the shrine.
