Rasik Bhita witnessed a blessed and memorable occasion on 15th March 2026, when Most Revered Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, graciously visited the institute and addressed the students.
Rev. Maharaj arrived at Rasik Bhita at around 4:00 PM. Upon his arrival, he first offered floral tributes at the shrine of Rasik Bhita in the 3rd Floor.
During his address, Rev. Maharaj shared his personal experiences of working among prisoners, describing how many inmates underwent transformation and upliftment through noble thoughts, constructive work, and spiritual guidance. His inspiring words highlighted how the divinity inherent in every individual can manifest through good company and positive thinking.
The programme provided a rare and valuable opportunity for the students of Rasik Bhita who were 318 in numbers. The students listened with great attention as Rev. Maharaj spoke at length about a world almost unknown to the students, giving stress on the inner change of the prisoners by cultivating noble ideals.
In addition to the students, the programme was attended by the teachers of Rasik Bhita, several Matajis and Brahmacharinis from Sri Sarada Math, Headquarters and a few devotees, making the gathering a solemn and spiritually uplifting evening for all present.
At the beginning of the talk, Rev. Pravrajika Atandraprana Mataji, General Secretary of Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, formally introduced Maharaj to the audience. At the end of the talk, Pravrajika Asheshaprana Mataji offered respectful pranams and expressed deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Maharaj for blessing the students with his inspiring words.
