‘Shiva jnane Jiva seva’ -Serve God in Living beings, following this principle of of Swami Vivekananda, ‘Narayana Seva’ was conducted at Vivekananda Sardha Shatabarsha Smarak Bhavan situated at 490, Dumdum Park.
On 11th January 2016, at 490, Dumdum Park,nearly 80 people whose huts were gutted in a major slum fire near Dumdum Park ( 26th December 2015) were each given a packet containing necessary items i.e. rice,dal, milk, bucket, blanket and a mosquito net and20 more were given blankets.
Food packets were served to everyone.
